Popcultcha are excited to present The Strength of Bone Premium Art Print by Alex Horley, which beautifully reproduces Horley’ original acrylic and oil painting based on Sideshow Collectibles’ own original dark fantasy world, the Court of the Dead.

This striking piece features the Reaper General Demithyle, who beckons the viewer to join the Underworld forces. Over his shoulder, Bone Faction Leader Xiall, the Great Osteomancer, looks to the future rebellion with her burning etherea-blue eyes. Their stoic and ghastly leadership is underpinned by the ghoulish Council of Osteomancy, the fearless adventurer Relic Ravlatch, the haunting beacon Shieve and the vast and varied host of the reaper army. Without the Bone Faction to uphold its principles and law, the Underworld would crumble. 

Faithfully reproduced on 100% archival heavyweight paper, The Strength of Bone measures 18” (45.72cm) x 24” (60.96cm) and is limited to an edition of 100 pieces worldwide. 

Alex Horley’s real name is Alessandro Orlandelli, and he was born in the small town of Opera in the outskirts of Milan, Italy. He has worked with DC, Marvel, Heavy Metal, Verotik Comics, Wizards of the Coast, Devils Due, Vampirella, the Comic Book Buyers Guide, Rob Zombie and Image Comics – just to name a few. Most recently he formed a production company with his partner and muse Stacy E. Walker and the “Alex Horley” name is now a registered trademark of Blaze Productions Inc. where plans are currently in the works to fully develop his own innovative ideas in the fantasy genre as well as the entertainment arts.
