From the anthemic “O Katrina!” to the gloriously unhinged “Bad Kids,” this record soundtracked warehouse parties, generator shows, and chaotic house gigs across the globe.

The Black Lips formed in 1999 and quickly gained notoriety for their unfiltered garage rock sound and wild, unpredictable live shows. Fusing elements of rockabilly, punk, and psychedelic fuzz, they’ve toured six continents and built a global cult following. Their chaotic ethos, complete with saxophones and stage antics, remains unmatched in the modern rock scene.
