“I Want the Door To Open” is Lala Lala’s third studio album, originally released in 2021. Lala Lala is the indie rock project of Chicago-based songwriter Lillie West. Lillie West was raised in London and moved with her family to Los Angeles when she was a teenager. She would soon relocate to Chicago to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and become involved with the city’s underground music scene.

“I Want the Door To Open,” is arguably one of Lala Lala’s best body of work to date, containing some of their most popular songs such as  “DIVER,” and “Color of the Pool” This album is a must have for any fan of the indie rock scene.
