The second album from Boston hardcore group Vein.fm is a tentative push toward accessibility, exploding its sound in new directions while nodding to familiar touchstones. 

Described as a birth-to-death narrative, the lyrical content is delivered in a panicked shriek or guttural bark that really does sound like either childbirth or death throes. The absolute wrath this album creates points back to the immaculate instrumentation. Double kick drums, blaring bass and filthy guitar riffs work together in unison to master the Metalcore sound.
