Released in 1983, Over the Edge is the third studio album by Wipers. The album steps back from the much longer songs of Youth of America, their second album; however, Over the Edge can more accurately be styled a fusion of their first two albums, for the songs may be shorter than those on on the second album, but tracks like “Romeo” share a hard, driving feel of Youth of America’s title track.
